Mahmud joined Tank Jowett in May 2023 as a Paralegal, bringing a strong commitment to supporting the firm’s criminal law practice.
In his role, Mahmud has gained valuable experience handling a wide range of complex cases, including those involving serious offences such as murder, fraud, sexual offences, and drug-related crimes. He works closely with partners and solicitors on both Magistrates’ and Crown Court cases, ensuring thorough and meticulous preparation for all court proceedings.
His key responsibilities include meeting clients to take detailed instructions and coordinating with barristers to ensure a seamless case strategy. Mahmud also plays an essential role in instructing expert witnesses when required, ensuring that all expert input is effectively incorporated into case preparation.
In addition to his behind-the-scenes work, Mahmud regularly attends court to assist barristers and provide crucial support to clients, demonstrating his commitment to delivering high-quality legal services in high-pressure environments.
