Tank Jowett Solicitors are currently representing three individuals in a complex multi-defendant trial at Nottingham Crown Court. The case concerns allegations of Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery, said to arise from what the prosecution describe as a pre-planned knife attack and robbery carried out under the guise of a legitimate sales transaction.
The prosecution contend that the Defendants collectively devised a scheme to advertise MacBooks and iPhones for sale, intending to lure a prospective buyer to an arranged meeting point. It is alleged that once the buyer arrived, he was subjected to a violent attack and was robbed of both his personal belongings and money.
