Following a trial at Luton Crown Court, Tank Jowett Solicitors has successfully secured a unanimous acquittal for a client charged with attempted murder.
The Prosecution alleged that the client was part of a group knife attack on a car, during which one of the passengers sustained serious injuries. The incident was captured on CCTV, which the Prosecution claimed showed the client among the attackers.
According to the case presented by the Prosecution, the victim’s car was deliberately lured to a cul-de-sac in a Luton suburb late at night before being ambushed by a large group.
The client pleaded not guilty to attempted murder but acknowledged that his fingerprints were found inside and outside the vehicle.
The defence team, was led by partners Baljit Tank and Adnan Hussain, who worked meticulously to dismantle the Prosecution’s case. The client was represented in court by John Lyons of Red Lion Chambers.
